The museum is fully accessible. There is a ramp leading up to the motorized front doors. The exhibition spaces are located in one floor only. From the lobby you can find a handicap bathroom.
Light, portable chairs can be borrowed from the lobby. Guide dogs are welcome to the museum.

The Finnish Museum of Photography is located in the Cable Factory, Ruoholahti, Helsinki, and is easily reached via public transport. There are five handicap parking spots in the courtyard of the Cable Factory.
- In front of Entrance G: two parking spots with unlimited parking time.
- Next to entrance D: two parking spots with parking time up to four hours. The width of the parking spots are 2950 mm and 3050 mm.
- Next to entrance F: one parking spot with parking time up to four hours. The width of the parking spot is only 2430 mm.
Free handicap parking is allowed only on these marked parking spaces. You can find a regular parking area in front of the museum entrance.
