Kämpscape - an intervention into…
We are happy to invite you to be part of Kämpscape – a unique happening at K1!
For an evening, on Thursday, December 3, you are welcome to experience audiovisual and interactive interventions set up by Aalto ARTS master degree students. Through sound, installation and participatory interaction you will engage in alternative ways of seeing, hearing, thinking and imagining. As an injection of creative energy, the art interventions will transform the usual exhibition-viewing practices into collective forming of new scapes for conversation and exploration.
Be ready to get yourself immersed into:
A relaxing and thought-provoking soundscape that will let your mind wander to places in and outside the gallery.
A campfire installation and a gathering, challenging the different notions around kæmp, camping, Kämp and the stories associated with them.
Connecting the diverse sites and communities of Itäkeskus and Kämp Galleria through an interactive multimedia setting to playfully investigate cross-cultural bonding.
Kämpscape is a collective artistic project developed during the course Contemporary Art as Social and Institutional Practice led by Kaija Kaitavuori, and designed and realised by the group of MA students at Aalto ARTS: Aryan Hassanvandi E Doreh, Anna Lioliou, Ieva Laube, Judit Kemppilä, Laura Hasanen, Laura Puska, Lea Wittich, Mariko Yoshida, Mayare Teixeira, Sarah Bergner, Takako Akimoto, Tytti Viljanen, Zara Asgher.
