Once a year the curators of the Finnish Museum of Photography are available for meetings for photographic artists who wish to receive feedback, comments or curatorial support on their practice.
This meeting can be reserved in any phase of a project or career, and the questions or requests of support can vary.
Please note, however, that this is not intended as a meeting in which to propose an exhibition to the museum’s program. Our wish is rather to get to know more about the practices of photographic artists, and to offer our expertise to the work that is often solitary.
The meetings last for 25 min (the timeslots available to reserve are marked as 30 min as they each include a 5 min break at the end) and the artists are requested to present the work for which they which to receive feedback or help with in a manner that is most suitable for them.
The meetings are arranged in person at the museum’s venue at Cable Factory. Each meeting is attended by two of the museum’s staff members from the exhibitions team, collections team and educational programming team.
Please reserve a meeting by posting your name and email address in the time slot you wish to reserve via this link.
You will soon receive an email confirming your reservation and informing you in more detail about the location of the meeting.
If you have technical problems, please contact curator Päiviö Maurice Omwami at paivio.omwami@fmp.fi.
