Queer themed guided tour and discussion encourages participants to challenge the normative perceptions of the world and society through the images in the exhibitions. During this dialogic tour, we practice to wonder i.e. gender and identity. How and why do we see what we see? During the tour, we will visit the exhibitions Invisible Race and Babirusa vol. II – Terminal Diasporic.

The tour will be in English.

The tour is led by Yasmin Ibrahim, who has masters degree in gender studies and has worked in the arts focusing on an inclusive perspective for underrepresented people in Finnish society.

The open guided tour takes place on the last Wednesday of January from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Free admission to the Cable Factory museums from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
